The jury split their commendation into many diverse parts, including more than $500,000 in financial losses to Mr. Panza and another $12 million in non-financial losses, while Mrs. Panza was granted $15 million in her action of loss of consortium.

Despite the judges regarded Eaton Airflex held for 40% of the damages as a result of their factory misuse for asbestos exposure, the statute of limitations for a case facing the firm had lapsed. This suggests that the Panzas will not get their 40% of the compensation allocated by the jury, yet the remaining 60% damage against Kelsey-Hayes will be reimbursed in full.
